Lake Siskiyou

A $10 Donation to the Fireworks is strongly suggested to launch your boat at Lake Siskiyou on the 4th.  The money will be collected at the campground entrance.  This money will go directly to the fireworks show and help off set some of the insurance cost associated with having boats on the lake.  We may have to look at limiting the number of boats or restricting boats in the future.  Every boat will be required to comply with the instructions below:

Due to the caliber of shells being used during the show you must keep your boat in the designated area which is the far western portion of the lake.  Please use the map provided to you by the campground as a reference for the safe area to have your boat. We will be enforcing this restriction by either not starting the show or by stopping the show if this safety zone is breached.  Being on the lake may be the the best view but it is also the most dangerous place to be if you are in the fall out zone.  Please remember that the show may be over but we could still have live explosives that we are trying to re-fire so please do not come near the firing site at any time on the 4th.  Boats on Lake Siskiyou are the biggest safety concern and we are looking at new ways to insure your safety so look for more changes next year.  Your compliance will help keep boats on the lake on the 4th of July...

Notice to Everyone

The north shore of Lake Siskiyou will be close to all public beginning at 6:00 AM until midnight on the 4th of July for your safety and the safety of the Pyrotechnic crew.  This will include North Shore Rd and the walking trial.  If you are already on the north side of the lake you will be escorted out of the area by the Sheriff's department.  The only people allowed on North Shore Road on the 4th of July are the Pyrotechnic Crew and designated fire personnel.  This sounds harsh but we are dealing with explosives!  Safety is the only priority.
