Where To Watch The Show

Featuring

     Summer Schappell

For several years the Resort has provided a place that families can go to enjoy the fireworks show.  The 4th of July has become Mt Shasta Resort's Community Appreciation Day and all the money raised from the $2 entrance fee goes directly to the fireworks show.  Come enjoy music from 7:00 PM until the start of the fireworks.  Food and beverages are available.

PLEASE

No Coolers, NO PETS, NO  PERSONAL FIREWORKS

Lake Siskiyou Camp-Resort & RV Park

Sitting on the beach at Lake Siskiyou Campgrounds is without a doubt the best location for seeing the show.  The crew at Reynolds Resort do a great job in providing a family environment.  It's best to come early and have a picnic, then head to the beach for a perfect view.  Space is a little limited but it's well worth your time if you love watching fireworks over the lake.   Remember to take your time leaving because the pyrotechnic crew always finds a few extra shells to fire after the show.

Due to the caliber of shells being used during the show you must keep your boat in the designated area which is the far western portion of the lake.  Please use the map provided to you by the campground as a reference for the safe area to have your boat. We will be enforcing this restriction by either not starting the show or by stopping the show if this safety zone is breached.  Being on the lake may be the the best view but it is also the most dangerous place to be if you are in the fall out zone.  Please remember that the show may be over but we could still have live explosives that we are trying to re-fire so please do not come near the firing site at any time on the 4th.  Boats on Lake Siskiyou are the biggest safety concern and we are looking at new ways to insure your safety so look for more changes next year.  Your compliance will help keep boats on the lake on the 4th of July...

Notice to Everyone

The north shore of Lake Siskiyou will be close to all public beginning at 6:00 AM until midnight on the 4th of July for your safety and the safety of the Pyrotechnic crew.  If you are already there you will be escorted out of the area by the sheriff department.  The only people allowed on Northshore Road on the 4th of July are the Pyrotechnic Crew and designated fire personnel.  This sounds harsh but we are dealing with explosives!  Safety is the priortity.
